Rebecca Romijn (born in New York City) is an American model and actor who is popular as the actor of Mystique, the main character from the first three episodes of X-Men. Romijn played a role in the Marvel character "The Punisher,' where she played 'Joan. Her career started with a modeling career as a fashionista. She has worked for top firms, such as Christian Dior Sports Illustrated Victoria's Secret. She spent a decade modeling for fashion houses of the big leagues and later quit that line of profession to concentrate on her acting career. Romijn enjoyed a much more lucrative profession on TV than Hollywood. She played 'Alexis Mead in the comedy drama 'Ugly Betty,' then 'Jessie Nichols in The NTSF SD SUV.'
